Hello! I’m an illustrator and graphic designer currently based in the Netherlands. While my main passion lies in book illustration, I continue to work as a freelance graphic designer, combining both disciplines to create meaningful visual stories. I made the leap to full-time freelancing recently—a decision that has brought me immense creative freedom.

My background in fine arts and art history has been foundational in shaping my understanding of visual communication, giving me a strong base to build upon. After further studying commercial design, I began my career as a graphic designer, all the while continuing to paint and illustrate in my free time. Since going freelance, I’ve embraced illustration more deeply, working in both traditional and digital media.

My international background has also been a key influence on my work. Living and working in different countries and industries has broadened my perspective and enriched my creative voice.

Outside of work, I enjoy a mix of activities: running, playing the violin, GO, computer games, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our two cats.
